Some houses feel as though they are keeping a secret. A polar bear occupies the foreground with the calm assurance of someone who has lived there forever, while a white cat keeps watch from the bed behind him. Deep navy, burgundy, green, and coral give the room its own strange weather—part domestic scene, part dream, entirely certain of itself. The House on Flamingo Lane is a painting about presence, privacy, and the quiet mystery of who is really at home.

Some afternoons refuse to hurry. A bison settles across a boldly patterned sofa, vast and completely unbothered, while a small bluebird and an abandoned cup of tea hold the quieter corners of the room. The Matter of Cold Tea is a painting about the things that can wait: the cup, the conversation, the answer you thought you needed right away. Color and pattern keep the scene lively, but the feeling is unmistakably still.

“Notes from the Studio Table” reads like a working surface—marks, colors, and quick decisions left visible. Shapes collide, repeat, and revise, as if the painting is thinking out loud. Nothing is precious; everything is in motion. It’s a record of process: what accumulates when intuition leads and the table becomes a place to test, edit, and keep going.

There are rooms where everyone has somehow ended up exactly where they belong, even if no one can explain how it happened. A tiger takes the sofa. A horse leans in from one side, a bull from the other. The patterns are loud, the colors have opinions, and the furniture is doing far more than holding the room together. The Sofa Situation is a painting about claiming your place, making room for the unexpected, and discovering that a little bit of beautiful chaos can feel a lot like home.
